Kozmic Blues.

Things have really been heating up this week. It feel like it's summer already. It has me longing for my summer playlists, and Janis Joplin is pretty much on every summer playlist I have ever made. I swear I was born in the wrong era. The 60s just speak to me. I adore the music from that time period. I am trying my best to stay cool in this blazing heat and good music definitely helps. So does a wide brim hat to keep me in the shade at all times, flowy frocks and cut-out boots. I already run hot normally, and being pregnant makes it much harder to cool down. I am really starting to look pregnant. You can see my belly is starting to pop. I can't believe I will be 20 weeks on Friday! That's already half way - 4.5 months exactly. Where does the time go?

I am hoping to make it to the beach in a day or two and let the tide rush over me. There's nothing like a dip in the chilly Pacific on a hot day.
I hope you're all staying cool out there.

What's cooler than being cool?
Ice cold! Haha.
Keep it ice cold people.

Come As You Are.

A lovely Sunday Funday to everyone! It's a nice 70 degrees today but this next week is supposed to be in the 90s!!! I opted to get in a wear of my TOPSHOP Plaid maternity pants. I adore these pants. They bring me back to 7th grade listening to Nirvana and No Doubt, when my closet was only full of various colored Converse. I really do feel like the modern love child of Kurt Cobain and Gwen Stefani in this outfit. These pants are just so comfortable. So is this super soft Splendid heather grey top. I feel like I am wearing pajamas. I haven't been super into wearing any shoe with a heel on it lately, I blame my growing belly and achy feet. I have a feeling I am going to be living in these Modern Vice boots all summer long. They are sleek, a bit badass and the cut outs make them very breathable. I look forward to wearing them with feminine frocks. I got this Rebecca Minkoff bag last year for my honeymoon. I loved the size of it and the silvery finish. It has a great balance of glamour and edginess that I just love.
Well I am off on Sunday adventure with the husband. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Bohemian Skies.

It's almost the weekend!!!! Lazy lounging, brunch, outdoor adventures, bicycle rides, flea market finds...weekends are the best! I scored this Free People top on Gilt a month or two back. I have been wearing it A LOT. I love how feminine and easy it is. I feel like a pregnant Stevie Nicks in it. It's great for keeping the baby bump under wraps. It's just now starting to look like a bump, for a while it just looked like I ate a lot, so this shirt came in handy. I think I'll be able to wear for a while longer too. I just finally got around to ordering some maternity denim cut offs, and I can't wait to wear them with this top when the weather starts heating up. It was nice and cool today so I opted to get in one last wear of my FP X JC Joe Lace Up Boots before they have to be retired until October.
HAPPY FRIDAY!!!
Anyone have any fun weekend plans?

In Dreams.

Aaaand I'm back after a few weeks hiatus. I've just been plagued with headaches and went to Boston for a week. I am currently listening to Roy Orbison, hence the title of this post. I am in such a lovely mood today and excited to share the gender of this sweet babe in my belly...
It's a GIRL!!!!!!
I knew it. I've been extra girly lately and drawn to pink, which is highly unusual for me. Do you see these earrings I'm rocking? I didn't go overboard, the black, silk dress anchors the outfit and keeps it from being too loud and vibrant. It's the perfect canvas for this great, punchy bag from Zimman's. It's just screaming to be taken on a tropical vacation.
I adore the collaboration Dolce Vita did with Vanessa Mooney. All of the sandals are amazing. I was so tempted to get the black Atara Sandals, but ultimately chose the gold because that's what I needed.
I am so excited to start planning a baby shower. I'm 19 weeks now - next week I'll be half way through the pregnancy. Time is just flyyyying...it seems like it was just January and now it's almost May. September will be here before I know it and this sweet baby girl will enter the world. It's the most beautiful, exciting, amazing thing to have ever happened to me. Words just really don't do the feelings justice. Being pregnant in spring is simply magical. All these flowers blooming and little animals being born, I've never felt so much a part of it as I do now.

I will leave you with "In Dreams" lyrics by Roy Orbison, because baby girl I dream of you every night...

"In dreams I walk with you. In dreams I talk to you.
In dreams you're mine. All of the time, we're together...
in dreams...in dreams..."
