Caught Under Her Spell.

I really miss India. I am so thankful I was able to experience it. Smokey air, ancient ruins, snake charmers, monkeys, elephants side by side with Mercedes, sultans, lepers, lice and gold. Women draped in shimmering bold colors, men in turbans, statues and shrines kept in every nook as a reminder to strive for a pure life, we are each only a soul. Wounded dogs, camels, horses, goats, cows, pigs. cats all running in the streets. Motorcycles like swarms of bees. It is at once dazzling, overwhelming, your spirit in an instant being broken and made whole.  You know in a moment who you are in the world.

I cannot wait until I can visit her again.

Life Sometimes Happens in Flashes.

Daniel and I have been working on gathering photos of us and our family and friends over the years to play at our rehearsal dinner. The only problem is Daniel has like 200 more photos than me. In an effort to add to my side of the photos I decided to turn to Facebook. I looked at every single picture of me on Facebook. Quite a task. But I chose these 64 out of like 1,000 pics. Looking at them brings tears to my eyes. The people in them, the things we did together, the places we went. I can't help feeling just blessed. SO BLESSED. It also reminds me of how far we have all come. How far we still have yet to go. And how life really is just an amazing, mysterious, wild ride.

I love you all from the bottom of my wild, beating heart.
