Pretty in Pink.

This past weekend my mom and my Maid of Honor, along with all my favorite ladies, worked together to throw me the most gorgeous bridal shower ever! It was super girly and french themed with flowers everywhere and an incredible pink ombre cake. They sure do know how to make a girl feel loved. I wanted to share some of the cute photos my MOH Julie took for me. : )

If You Dare Come a Little Closer.

I just seriously cannot get enough of this song! Rihanna & Mikky Ekko's "Stay". It's just playing in my head over and over, endlessly...and somehow I want more and more. It's so simple and powerful and raw and sweet and just cuts to the core. This performance on SNL is pretty amazing. Rihanna proves she doesn't have to shake it and show some skin to get you to listen. They also added some strings in this live version that take it to another level. I really dig how simple Mikky Ekko kept this song. I'm interested in seeing what he does in the future. I read on wiki that he had a nomadic childhood traveling around the south with his preacher father. He has a lot of gospel influences. I want to hear what he has up his sleeve.

Coachella. Day Two. 2013.

Here are snippets from Coachella this past weekend. We only brought the 7D along for Day Two, here it is in a nutshell: Natasha Khan, better known as Bat For Lashes, rocking a Rainbow Brite look while belting her heart out; massive sweaty crowds (not my favorite); Walshy Fire from Major Lazer crowd surfing and hugging Daniel mid-song before climbing back on stage(gotta find YouTube footage of that); a ton of walking through those Polo fields; Grizzly Bear was epic as usual, they surely never disappoint, and I love Ed Droste's shirt; Coachella at night is hypnotic even through sober eyes. Not Coachella's best line-up but overall it was fun. I am debating whether or not this will be my last year attending. It gets more corporate every year. But here is to hoping for a mega, epic lineup next year!

A Rose in Full Bloom.

A week has been feeling more like three days. Where does the time go? Time is just ticking away like crazy. I have finally gotten enough wedding stuff done, and crossed of my mind, that I have been actually writing again. It feels so good. Last week I was typing away like a fiend. But I milked myself a bit dry and was feeling cooped up in the house. So Daniel and I took a nice drive out to Topanga Canyon. And yes we did do some wedding stuff, but I made sure to twirl around in the woods with some flowers. I adore this Free People Voile & Lace Trapeze slip dress. It's pretty much the best thing ever for prancing around in. I want it in a couple other colors too. I can't wait until it's warmer and I can wear it as a cover up this summer, playing in the sunshine. These Free People X Jeffrey Campbell boots I got on sale and having literally not taken them off my feet since I got them. I swear they go everything.

Phreud Spies....

Life has been running beyond full speed lately. It makes me happy to have my iPhone, Phreud, to capture all the little moments or they might just all slip by unnoticed. It's been a pretty magical madness these last couple months.
